Python I: Introduction to Python Programming

Python is one of the most widely used languages in the software industry. It's a great first language to teach programming fundamentals. Have fun and learn to code at the same time! Learning to code improves your problem solving and math skills!

 

Students will learn:

  • How to write code to solve problems

  • How to think like a programmer

  • How to create computer graphics

Python II: Intermediate Python Programming

Building on the core programming skills introduced in Python I, our intermediate python class will teach students how to build a pong style game and a platformer game similar to old school Donkey Kong. Python I is required as a prerequisite.
